TERMS AND CONDITIONS
When making a booking, you are entering into a contract with AberGlamping. Your booking is subject to these Terms & Conditions. By making a booking, you agree that:

You have read these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them;

You are 18 years of age or older.

You consent to our use of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The full terms and conditions for using the website aberglamping.co.uk and making a booking with us are detailed below:

BOOKING & PRICES:
-
All payments are taken in full upon booking;
-
For any of our glamping units a security damage deposit of £150 is required against each booking, this will be refunded in full upon leaving. This payment is required checking in. Should the booking be cancelled this amount will be refunded.

A cleaning inspection will take place following departure, a cleaning fee of up to £100 will be taken from the security deposit if the dome is not left in an acceptable condition (please see below for details)

Any cancellation requests are subject to our cancellation policy.

Please check your dates and guests when booking to ensure these are accurate;

Bedding is supplied for the king size bed but if you would like additional bedding for the futon beds this. must be selected as an optional extra during the booking process

Booking details must be checked immediately on receipt of booking confirmation email and AberGlamping must be notified by email to: info@aberglamping.co.uk within 7 days of booking to report any discrepancies or incorrect information in the confirmation;

If you book over the phone, you will need to pay by debit or credit card through an online transaction, we are unable to take phone payments.

Only once we receive payment and send a booking confirmation email is the booking confirmed;

You must be 18 or over to make a booking;

If you don’t receive our confirmation email after booking, please contact us by email or phone;

We reserve the right at all times to refuse a booking without statement of reasons;

It is the right of Aber Glamping to turn down group bookings if we don’t believe this will be in the interests of all customers on site at that time. Please notify us of any group bookings by email before making the reservation so we are able to confirm or refuse this booking as appropriate;

Aber Glamping reserves the right to modify the prices on the website. Prices at the time of booking and in the booking confirmation are binding. Aber Glamping reserves the right to cancel and reissue bookings which have incorrect pricing if this is an obvious error;

The rental price of a glamping unit includes rental of the dome and surrounding area, use of water in the shower/toilet units and kitchen, VAT according to the guidelines of the VAT administration, bed linen where agreed, firewood provided within the dome at the start of your stay. The rental price does not include firewood from the log store or items from the honesty shop – these are priced separately and must be paid for as instructed if used;

All payments must be made online at time of booking. Any additional requests (optional extras) must be booked at least 72 hours prior to arrival.

GREENER CAMPING CLUB:

All visitors must be members of the Greener Camping Club, as we are a members only site and is a condition of operating within the National Park. The good news is this is only £12 for a year.

If you are not a member please select the optional extra at the checkout and we will take care of all the admin, you will be a member for a year

If you are already a member of the Greener Camping club for the current year please let us know and we will refund your additional extra.
CHECK IN & CHECK OUT:

Check in is at 4pm onwards and checkout is 10am on day of departure. Please let us know if you wish to check in outside of this time. We recommend arriving before dark to allow you to get to domes and set up lighting easily. If your departure is delayed, we reserve the right to charge a late departure fee of £20;

AberGlamping will make every effort to honour special requests (such as for baby equipment) however, the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance.

AberGlamping reserves all rights to refuse service to any guests who do not follow, or comply with, our glamping policies.
WHEN YOU ARE HERE/PREPARING TO LEAVE:
Due care and appropriate behaviour is expected of all guests using the accommodation and facilities at Aber Glamping.
This includes but is not limited to:
Cleanliness and Damages -
-
Keeping all accommodation and facilities used in a reasonable condition;
-
Informing Aber Glamping about any breakages or spillages or other accidental damage on site;
-
Washing up all used kitchenware and returning to its place;
-
Keeping communal areas clean and tidy after use;
-
Fire-pits and wood burners that have been used to be emptied of ash in to the ash bins provided by the kitchenette;
-
Keeping all outside areas and inside areas free of food and rubbish. There is wildlife all around the site and we need to keep it clean to avoid attracting wildlife in places we don’t want it;
-
All guests are expected to recycle. Recycling bins can be found in the communal areas and kitchenettes;
-
In attempt to cut down on plastic waste we requested that no single use plastic is used, this includes; plastic cups, plates and cutlery. All these items are available to use in the kitchenette;
-
Guests are asked not to use confetti or glitter in the tents;
-
Guests are responsible for payment of any losses or damage to the property caused by you or a member of your party, except reasonable wear and tear;
-
Any behaviour deemed inappropriate by Aber Glamping will result in the removal of guests without a refund of any of the price paid;
-
If domes are left in an improper condition, additional cleaning costs can be charged up to £100 (this includes the clean up of vomit); intensive cleaning is required for smoking damage (£350)
​
Behaviour on site-
-
Keeping noise and music to a minimum, at a volume which will not disturb other guests;
-
Quiet time between 11pm and 6am;
-
Behaving in a considerate and safe manner whilst on site and in the local area;
-
No children or adults to exit the site from anywhere other than the main gate. Please ensure no child or adult enters the farmland or fields surrounding the property;

Fires, BBQS and Smoking -
-
Keeping all barbecues and fire pits on their platforms at least 2m from any hedge dome or tent at any time;
-
BBQ’s must not be used on the wooden decking area (even if on a stand) we ask they are used well away from the accommodation.
-
BBQ’s, firepits and wood burners are never to be left unattended and must be extinguished after use.
-
Using the log burners inside the domes only on the assigned mats and holders, and never leaving this unattended when lit; do not light and then go to bed, please make sure it is shut down before falling asleep.
-
No fireworks, sparklers, candles or other flames to be used on site at any time;
-
We do not allow ground fires.
-
Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the domes at any time, a charge of £350 will be issued for intensive cleaning if there has been any smoking inside the domes or in the open doorway/ porch areas.

Smoking is allowed on decking (at least 2m from any canvas) and surrounding grass areas. We ask that anyone smoking extinguishes their cigarette fully and disposes of it in an ashtray or bin. Discarded cigarette butts can be harmful to the local wildlife and sheep or cattle.

Clothing or material of any kind must never be hung or dried next to or on the wood burner in the dome as this represents a significant fire risk. Storage for clothes etc. is available using the clothes hooks/rail in the domes.
Linen and Towels-
-
Linen is provided free of charge for the main bed(s) within the dome.
-
If the additional futons are required then an additional charge of £30 per bed.
-
Towels are included, for the main bed and any additional beds requested to be made up.

Wifi Fair & Appropriate Usage Policy-

We offer as a service to our guest free wifi access when staying in our glamping units, the camp site does not have wifi access. We live in a remote area and wifi is supplied via a satellite link and as such can be limited. Guests accept to use this access to the Internet fairly and appropriately. The Internet access provided is intended for light, general use such as access to the internet, email, messaging, social media e.g. facebook etc. It is not intended nor suitable for media streaming, videos, online gaming, downloads / uploads. Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity is prohibited and will be reported to local authorities. We may monitor network performance and user usage in order to maintain a fair and high level of service to all our guests.

Lost Property-

Any lost property, if discovered and found, left behind by guests during a stay will be held for a period of 1 month. While we will make our best efforts to reunite lost property with their owners we accept no responsibility in replacing lost items and encourage guests to ensure they have all their belonging before checking-out. We may offer to post lost items via recorded delivery at the cost of the property owner, otherwise collection can be arranged.

Car Parking-

Each glamping unit has a designated parking space guests accept that they park their vehicles at their own risk.

Additional parking spaces are available for an additional cost (see optional extras).

Electric Car Charging Station-
-
The car charging point/station is free to use for glamping guests only.
-
Visitors to the glamping site (seeing friends for example) may NOT use this facility and will be charged.
-
Access to this facility will be withdrawn if they are not used in accordance with the instructions given by the management.
-
This facility may not always be available, please check with the management before you arrive.

Pets-
-
Due to the fact we are a working farm we do not accept pets on site.
Force Majeur exists if the agreed booking or part of it is prevented due to circumstances outside of Aber Glampings control. This includes threat of war, fire, floods, high winds and other disruptions. In these instances Aber Glamping are within their rights to close the site to guests.

Aber Glamping accept no liability for:

Theft, loss or damage, of any nature which results during a stay at Aber Glamping;

Falling into defect or putting out of action of technical equipment and loss of closure of supplies at Aber Glamping;
-
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits our liability for the death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for any matter which it would be illegal for us to exclude/limit or attempt to exclude/limit our liability.

Whilst Aber Glamping have taken care to reduce risks and ensure the safety of guests on site, there are risks associated with camping including but not limited to barbecue fires, firepit fires, hot stoves, kitchen equipment and trip hazards such as tent pegs, steps and uneven ground. Aber Glamping are not responsible for any accidents that may happen on site. It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure appropriate use of all equipment and ensure children are supervised at all times. It a guest notices that any equipment or other element of the glamping site looks faulty or unsafe, they must inform Aber Glamping as soon as possible. It is advisable for all guests to take out travel insurance to cover accidents and any reduction of stay.

Any complaints should be raised during your stay to allow Aber Glamping to solve the issue as quickly as possible.

Social Media
AberGlamping maintains publicly facing pages on social media sites, social networking sites, internet postings and blogs (“Social Media Sites”). By posting any content related directly or indirectly to AberGlamping on any Social Media Sites on the internet, you accept, without limitation or qualification, these terms.

By providing any content to any Social Media Sites you agree that the content will be considered non-confidential and we have the irrevocable, worldwide, transferrable, royalty-free, right to reproduce, distribute, publish, and display such content and the right to create derivative works from your content, edit or modify such content, transfer the medium of such content, and use such content.
​
By uploading the content onto the Social Media Sites you agree that the material will not be defamatory of any person, infringe any copyright, database right or trade mark of any other or promote any illegal activity.

Photos posted on Aber Glamping social media pages or the Aber Glamping google page may be used without permission or payment.
